The Northern Borders Municipality, represented by the Rafha Municipality, is continuing its efforts to improve quality of life across approximately 40 parks and gardens through an integrated operational plan. The plan focuses on raising cleanliness and maintenance standards, upgrading facilities, and improving key pathways to enhance the appeal of these sites and provide residents and visitors with a safe and well-equipped environment.
The governorate’s recreational facilities include three model walking tracks, as well as pedestrian paths and sports tracks spread across more than 1.4 million square meters of green space. These facilities provide diverse options for sports and recreational activities while supporting the expansion of green areas and improving the urban landscape.
Field operations include regular cleaning and maintenance programs, as well as continuous checks to ensure the readiness of parks, gardens, and related facilities. The measures are intended to maintain operational efficiency and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of services amid rising visitor numbers.
