Riyadh Season 2025 is returning to Saudi Arabia’s capital with a grand opening ceremony, featuring giant balloons and a captivating parade.
On October 10, 2025, the official launch of Riyadh Season will feature an exceptional parade between the Kingdom Arena and Boulevard World, Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al al-Sheikh, announced.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ceremony will include a variety of international and local shows. A key highlight is the New York Macy’s balloons, which will appear for the first time outside the US in Riyadh.
Audiences will have an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy roving artistic performances by local and international troupes, as well as giant balloons and popular characters making their international debut in the Kingdom, creating a vibrant and colorful atmosphere.
At 3:30 pm, audiences can join the festivities for free, enjoying a dazzling blend of dancing, floats, performances and music.
Riyadh Season 2025 includes 11 entertainment zones, hosting 15 global championships, and 34 exhibitions and festivals, with the addition of new zones for Kuwait, South Korea and Indonesia at Boulevard World.
The sixth edition of Riyadh Season also hosts new zones and experiences, including Beast Land, Boulevard Flowers, Aroya Cruise, and Fly over Saudi.
In the light of this, Al al-Sheikh pointed out that the opening parade highlights Riyadh Season’s position as a premier entertainment destination, combining local creativity with global experiences, establishing Riyadh’s status at the forefront of the international entertainment scene.
