Jeddah’s largest public parks have become key destinations for residents and visitors during the Summer 2026 season, offering expansive green spaces, recreational facilities and community amenities across the city.
Among the most prominent is Prince Majed Park in Al Rabwah district, which spans more than 130,000 square meters. The park features open lawns, walking paths, children’s play areas and a range of service facilities, making it a popular venue for family recreation and community activities throughout the year.

In central Jeddah, Al Suja Parks have emerged as a major urban green space covering more than 60,000 square meters. The site includes walking and cycling tracks, children’s play areas and landscaped open spaces spread across several sections. Its design links with neighboring parks to form an interconnected recreational network serving surrounding communities.

Al Ajwad Park
Al Ajwad Park, one of the city’s newer public parks in eastern Jeddah, extends across more than 70,000 square meters. It includes a circular walking and cycling track exceeding one kilometer, wide green areas, dedicated children’s facilities and supporting amenities. The park’s design incorporates natural landscape features alongside recreational infrastructure.

Together, these parks reflect Jeddah’s growing focus on developing large public green spaces within residential areas, providing accessible venues for sports, leisure and community activities while offering families open-air destinations during holidays and the summer season.
The parks are also part of a broader network of public parks, walkways and open spaces across the city, expanding recreational opportunities and improving connectivity between key urban destinations.
Visitor numbers typically increase during the summer months as families seek spacious outdoor areas with a range of recreational facilities. The parks also contribute to wider urban landscape enhancement and public space improvement efforts aimed at supporting quality of life across Jeddah.

The continued development of these parks forms part of the Jeddah Municipality’s long-term strategy to strengthen the role of public green spaces as essential community assets and year-round destinations for residents and visitors.
