Aroya Cruises Sets Sail for Mediterranean Ahead of Inaugural Season Launch

Aroya Cruises, the Kingdom’s first Arab cruise line and a wholly owned subsidiary of Cruise Saudi under the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced that its flagship vessel, Aroya, departed yesterday for the Mediterranean Sea in preparation for the start of its first season in the region, launching on June 28.

Moreover, the ship is expected to arrive at Galataport in Istanbul on June 20, which will serve as its homeport for the Mediterranean cruises. En route, the vessel will make stops in the picturesque Turkish coastal cities of Kaş and Bodrum.

Running from late June through mid-September, Aroya Cruises will offer six- to seven-night itineraries across the Eastern Mediterranean. Highlights of the journey include popular destinations such as Kaş, Bodrum, and Marmaris in Türkiye; Athens, Mykonos, Rhodes, and Souda Bay in Greece; and Alexandria in Egypt. Guests will enjoy immersive travel experiences that combine cultural exploration with authentic Arab-inspired hospitality.

This Mediterranean launch follows Aroya Cruises’ successful debut in the Red Sea last December, where it hosted over 70,000 guests on voyages to Egypt, Jordan, and the exclusive island destination of Saba Beach on Jabal Al-Sabayya.
