Saudi Red Crescent Authority Secures 1st, Third Arab Rankings in “Arab Pulse Wave” Initiative

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has achieved first and third place at the Arab level in the “Arab Pulse Wave” initiative, organized by the Arab Resuscitation Council to mark World Restart a Heart Day, during the Fourth Scientific Conference.
The achievement came after the Authority, represented by its Eastern Region branch, ranked first in the Arab world for the number of training beneficiaries, having trained 101,071 people in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid skills under the “Pulse of the Eastern Region” initiative. Meanwhile, the Authority, represented by the General Administration for Volunteering in Riyadh, ranked third in the Arab world after training 32,067 beneficiaries. The total number of beneficiaries from the efforts of both entities reached 133,138.
The conference honored the four entities with the highest numbers of beneficiaries, in recognition of the efforts of participating organizations in spreading awareness of CPR and promoting life-saving skills.
The Authority’s achievement of two leading positions at the Arab level reflects its efforts to expand community-based training, strengthen partnerships across various sectors, and empower community members to acquire essential first-aid skills. These efforts contribute to enhancing society’s readiness to respond to emergencies and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in improving quality of life and promoting community participation.
