For the first time in Riyadh, the Gipsy Kings featuring Tonino Baliardo will perform live in the Saudi capital, in a vibrant celebration of music and culture.
On September 18, 2025, Saudi audiences are in for an incredible musical night full of Spanish flamenco, Latin rumba, and modern pop at the King Fahad Cultural Center.
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) announced that the legendary band – known for blending Spanish flamenco music with Latin pop – will deliver an unforgettable performance as part of two international musical evenings organized by the RCRC this September.
The Gipsy Kings have risen to fame in the 1980s, capturing audiences worldwide with their unique music and iconic hits, such as Bamboléo, Volare, Djobi Djoba, Trista Pena, and their stunning cover of the Eagles’ Hotel California.
In 2014, the Gipsy Kings won the Grammy Award for Best World Music Album for their album “Savor Flamenco.”
At the Gipsy Kings concert in Riyadh, expect energetic beats, electrifying vibes and passionate rhythms in a live celebration of music, creativity and culture.
The RCRC will also host another musical night on September 20 for the world-renowned sitar player, Anoushka Shankar, who will showcase her extraordinary fusion of classical Indian music with contemporary experimentation, creating a unique musical style of her own.
These concerts align with the RCRC’s commitment to fostering the cultural scene and expanding interaction with global arts. Moreover, the initiative contributes to enhancing Riyadh’s cultural infrastructure, boosting the quality of life for its residents and visitors, and establishing its growing presence on the regional and international cultural map, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
