Submissions Open for First-Ever Madinah Arts Award

The Madinah Award Foundation has unveiled the first-ever Madinah Arts Award to promote the artistic scene in the region, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

With submissions open until September 30, the award aims to foster the cultural profile of Madinah by boosting visual arts in the region.

Furthermore, it seeks to support intellectual and cultural development, improve the visual arts sector, empower artists to achieve their goals, as well as ignite the spirit of competition.

Thus, it plays a central role in mirroring the transformative role of art in Madinah’s society.

Notably, the inaugural 2025 edition will concentrate on “graphic art.”

Through innovative styles, submissions must creatively feature Madinah’s religious, historical, cultural, civilizational, economic, social, and heritage significance.

Saudi visual artists as well as residents of the Kingdom are eligible to take part in the award, but they must be at least 18 years old.

Applications must be submitted through the Madinah Award Foundation platform no later than Sept. 30 via the official website: https://madinahaward.org.sa.
