The Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah seeks to boost the national cultural scene through a wide range of unique programs and creative initiatives, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The society mainly aims to foster artistic activity, empower talents, and promote cultural awareness in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
This week, the society is launching the integrated theater club with the participation of artists and emerging talents. Through several theatrical and musical performances, the club is exploring social issues from a contemporary perspective.
Thus, it targets all segments of society and crystalizes the concept of interactive theatre as a tool for social change and enlightenment.
Furthermore, the society hosted a vast array of cultural activities last week, including a workshop titled “How to Write a Book” and a panel discussion on “Theatre and the Challenges of the Future.”
Mohammed Al-Subaih, the society’s director in Jeddah, noted that the society seeks to offer a creative environment, empower emerging talent, and strengthen connections to national identity through contemporary artistic expressions.
It also aims to foster Jeddah’s position as an active and influential cultural center by improving art production mechanisms and local content.
