The Red Sea International Film Festival has announced the 11 Arab short films chosen to take part in the official competition of its fifth edition, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
These selections feature a wide range of emerging voices and filmmakers from across the Arab world, including Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates.
The festival will screen these films from December 4 to 13, in the heart of historic Jeddah (Al-Balad).
The works highlight various narrative perspectives that showcase the realities of the region while diving deeply into its social, cultural, and humanitarian aspects.
Through the Arab Short Films program, the festival represents a vital platform that celebrates talented voices in Arab cinema and empowers them to take creative risks and embark on bold artistic expressions.
