Saudi Arabia Launches 1st Summer Piano Program

The Saudi Music Commission has launched a summer piano program, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Running from June 29 until the end of July 2025, the summer piano program will feature a collaboration with the world-renowned pianist, Lang Lang, and will open its doors to more than 30 male and female students from across Saudi Arabia.

The piano program’s main goal is to hone the participants’ technical and artistic skills through providing individual classes, group classes, hands-on training, and interactive sessions, all under the supervision of distinguished academics and music professionals.

The program marks a major milestone in the Kingdom’s music learning landscape, underscoring the Music Commission’s commitment to empowering the next generation of Saudi musicians and fostering an artistic learning environment, to build a comprehensive ecosystem for national talents in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

On this occasion, the Music Commission’s CEO, Paul Pacifico, said: “This initiative marks a bold new chapter in the evolution of music education in the Kingdom. By partnering with world-class international instructors, we are not only nurturing the next generation of Saudi talent but also expanding the horizons of our cultural ambitions.”

Similarly, Lang Lang expressed excitement about his cooperation with the Saudi Music Commission, hoping that the summer piano program will mark the beginning of an inspiring journey for the next generation of musicians and contribute to building a prestigious musical, educational and cultural legacy in Saudi Arabia.
