
Saudi Arabia is taking part in the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 (NDWBF) in Delhi, India, represented by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission.
The Commission’s participation in the New Delhi World Book Fair, taking place from February 1-9, 2025, aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s cultural and literary position globally, raise awareness about the rich cultural heritage of the Kingdom, and showcase its literary contributions to the global cultural landscape.
Furthermore, this participation aims to foster cultural and intellectual exchange between Saudi Arabia and India, in line with the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission’s efforts to boost cultural cooperation, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Moreover, the Commission’s participation is aimed at bolstering the presence of Saudi publishing houses in international cultural forums, supporting Saudi literary creativity regionally and internationally.
The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission’s pavilion at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 displays the Commission’s literary and cultural programs and initiatives through several sections.

One of these sections is dedicated to the “Tarjem” initiative, which highlights the Saudi translation movement. Other sections are dedicated to the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language and the King Fahd National Library.
Additionally, the Commission presents a diverse cultural program, featuring 6 dialogue sessions that discuss multiple literary and cultural topics.
Saudi Arabia took part in the New Delhi World Book Fair 2024 as a guest of honor. During its participation, the Kingdom hosted many cultural programs and events that showcased Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural and creative landscape.
