Azimuth Festival Brings World-famous DJs to the Heart of AlUla

The Azimuth Festival kicked off in AlUla on September 19 with several world-famous DJs and artists from all over the world, reported Arab News.

The event involves two stages: The main stage and the Hive stage. Themed “Until the Sun Comes Up,” the festival runs from dusk until dawn with stunning performances extending until 7 a.m.

The first day boasted an outstanding lineup, including Ben Bohmer, YokoO, Ghostly Kisses, The Blaze, Monolink, Eli & Fur, Amine K, and several Saudi DJ’s performing on the Hive stage.

“I’m here in the stunning AlUla in Saudi Arabia. It’s my first time both visiting and performing in this country. I’m thrilled to be here, and I hope everyone is having an amazing time,” German DJ Ben Bohmer stated.

DJ Cosmicat has participated in the festival for the third year consecutively and expressed remarkable excitement about closing out the Hive Stage on the first night.

“It allows everyone to take in the beauty of this place and connect with one another. Each year, I see the festival evolving, with new faces and exciting developments. I’m so proud of everything happening here. The audience at Azimuth has a distinct taste in music, and I am thrilled because the music I love aligns with this year’s lineup, featuring artists like Eli & Fur, Ben Bohmer and James Blake, all of whom have influenced my sound,” DJ Cosmicat said.

The internationally acclaimed DJ YokoO began the Thursday’s activities with a captivating 80-minute set, showcasing his two decades of expertise in house music.

Thursday and Friday nights also shed light on various music sets by a diverse lineup of local, regional, underground and emerging artists.
