“Thanks to the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, the Cultural Scholarship Program has been launched, welcoming those with a passion for studying cultural fields, driven by great aspirations and a deep commitment to the value of education, skill development, and the empowerment of creators. Today, we celebrate the first graduates of this national initiative, recognizing their achievements and looking to them to play a vital role in our cultural journey.”
He added: “The development of cultural capacities contributes to enhancing effective dialogue between cultures and peoples, exchanging knowledge across generations, and competing globally in various creative industries. From this perspective, I assure the graduates of the cultural scholarship program that their journey has just begun to contribute to the prosperity of the Kingdom through its diverse cultural expressions, enriching individual lifestyles, strengthening national identity, and encouraging cultural dialogue with the world.”
The event featured a main performance divided into two parts. The first part was a play titled “The Legacy of the Ancestors Followed by the Descendants,” and the second part was a musical performance by the orchestra titled “Building on What They Did.” Additionally, there was a visual presentation that narrated the story of the scholarship program since its inception, its successive achievements, and interviews with graduating students sharing their experiences in the countries where they studied.
