Shakira will return to Egypt for the first time in nearly two decades with a concert at the Pyramids of Giza on Nov. 28.
The Colombian singer is set to perform at the UNESCO World Heritage Site in a show organized by Venture Lifestyle. It will be her first appearance in Egypt since performing at the same venue in 2007.

The concert follows a series of international events staged by Venture Lifestyle, which has previously brought artists including Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Katy Perry and Demi Lovato to the Middle East.
Shakira’s return comes as she continues promoting her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, following a series of performances around the world. During a career spanning more than three decades, she has sold more than 95 million records and won multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.

She recently released “Dai Dai,” a song included on the official soundtrack for the FIFA World Cup.
In a statement, Shakira said: “I’m very happy to be performing in Egypt, at the Pyramids of Giza. I love you all.”
