Lightbound: Kaf By Kaf, Adidas Redefine Saudi Fashion with New Collection

The Saudi fashion label, Kaf by Kaf, in collaboration with the global sportswear giant, Adidas, have launched the Spring/Summer 2025 Sportswear Collection, Lightbound.

Lightbound is a line of unisex pieces that meet the needs of both athletes and fashion-forward individuals. Debuting ahead of Riyadh Fashion Week 2024, Lightbound was unveiled as the first-ever regional runway show for Adidas at King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh.

The collection features unique colorful art pieces inspired by Saudi Arabia’s rooted history with football. It blends sportswear with culture and fashion, infusing elements of Saudi heritage in each piece.

Designed by Kawthar Alhoraish, the creative force behind Kaf by Kaf, Lightbound collection takes inspiration from abayas, headscarves and traditional patterns, creating modern sportswear with an authentic Saudi touch. It offers a range of stylish options from comfortable loungewear to performance attire.

In the light of this, the Lightbound collection includes a lightweight headscarf crafted from breathable materials for a comfortable fit, along with a long sporty dress featuring with flat knit V-neck collar, racerback design, and convenient side seam pockets.

Moreover, standout pieces include the classic track top and track pants which blend comfort with modern aesthetics. It also features an elongated cover-up abaya with an open-front design and the classic 3 stripes Adidas branding.

Commenting on the collaboration with Adidas, Kawthar Alhoraish said: “This global collection is a celebration of our shared values—creativity and heritage. With Adidas, we’ve created designs that celebrate our traditions while adding a contemporary fashion twist with sportswear.”
