Lebanese fashion house Georges Hobeika unveiled its latest couture collection at Paris Haute Couture Week on Monday.
Georges Hobeika and his son, Jad Hobeika, presented a romantic collection inspired by James McCrae’s poem Instructions Before Visiting Earth, drawing on its themes of curiosity, compassion and wonder.
Guests at the show included Moroccan-Canadian singer Faouzia, Lebanese content creator Nour Rizk, influencer Becca Bloom, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing and Tunisian television presenter Myriem Boukadida.
Created across the house’s Beirut and Paris ateliers, the collection featured intricate embroidery, shimmering beadwork and flowing fabrics that echoed the movement of water. Lace was the dominant material, while the palette combined soft blues, muted beige, sage green and dusty rose with black looks that added contrast.

Founded in 1995, the Beirut-based couture house has become a regular fixture on the Paris Haute Couture calendar.
Paris Haute Couture Week
Elsewhere at Paris Haute Couture Week, Jonathan Anderson returned to the runway for Dior as attention remained focused on the wedding dress he designed for Taylor Swift.
Three days after Swift married NFL star Travis Kelce at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with both wearing Dior, Anderson presented a sculptural, heavily pleated collection inspired by American artist Lynda Benglis. Moreover, the commission marked a high-profile moment for the LVMH-owned fashion house and for the Northern Irish designer, who was appointed last year to oversee Dior’s fashion collections.
The collection drew on Benglis’ artistic practice, known for transforming industrial materials into fluid, sculptural forms. Dior’s ateliers translated that approach into couture through techniques that folded, pressed and knotted fabric into three-dimensional silhouettes.

Finally, the designs reflected the concept, featuring a skirt of silver-foiled petals that shifted with movement, a strapless silver lamé gown cinched with an oversized bow, and tailored trousers and blouses finished with tightly hand-pressed pleats.
