Jizan city and its governorate centers were adorned with over 150,000 flower seedlings, 24,000 flags, and 2,300 billboards for the 94th National Day of the Kingdom. This annual celebration, held on September 23, features the theme “We Dream and Achieve.”
The government buildings were draped in green, reflecting their commitment to participating in this national event, which holds special significance for all segments of society. They were illuminated with interactive lighting displaying the National Day logo, Vision 2030, images of King Abdulaziz (may he rest in peace), the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince (may Allah preserve them).
The National Day celebrations include “a marathon at sunset, a national parade at the waterfront, a musical concert at Prince Sultan Cultural Center, aerial and military displays at the waterfront, maritime shows at Coral Beach, various activities and competitions at the waterfront, fireworks at the waterfront, and a ‘How We Dream and Achieve’ event at Dar Al-Tawheed School,” in addition to many other diverse activities suitable for all age groups in the National Flag Square in Jazan city and the surrounding governorates.
According to the safety measures, the coastal areas and public parks, as well as many tourist sites in the city of Jizan and the affiliated governorates and centers, have been prepared. These areas will witness the arrival of a number of residents, locals, and visitors to enjoy the National Day events.
