Riyadh is set to host a major boxing event this summer, as Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, confirmed the return of Anthony Joshua to the ring. The event, titled “The Comeback,” will take place on Saturday, July 25, in Riyadh and will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN.
Joshua will face Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga in what promises to be an exciting clash. While Joshua brings an impressive professional record into the fight, Prenga is known for his knockout power, with most of his wins ending early.
This bout is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to host high-profile international boxing matches, reinforcing Riyadh’s growing reputation as a global hub for sports and entertainment.
