
Saudi woman Lujain Abulfaraj has noticed that some children have some difficulties while learning Arabic Language. Therefore, she decided to make use of her passion to Arabia and create more engaging methods to make learning easier for children.
In 2015, Abulfaraj joined a design program to further discover the beauty of Arabic calligraphy and its potentials as an educational tool.

Consequently, she discovered that learning Arabia through calligraphy can be both entertaining and instructive.
Thus, Abulfaraj created a game boasting large Arabic letters that could be arranged into words for play.

She also established a venture designed particularly to improve language learning for children.
Moreover, she unveiled “Akwan” (universes in Arabic), a promising idea designed to make learning interactive and enjoyable for children through a set of magnetic bricks inspired by Arabic calligraphy.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Abulfaraj has participated in the Riyadh International Book Fair showcasing the unprecedented creative possibilities of “Akwan”.

She commended the pivotal efforts of the Ministry of Culture in reviving Saudi culture, notably the Arabic language, and supporting Saudi young talent.
The Ministry has nominated Abulfaraj for the 2023 Cultural Awards in architecture and design. She became one of the top three finalists in the Kingdom.
