
Saudi farmers in Al-Baha region have recently harvested their unique pomegranates known for its fascinating colors and delicious flavors, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The region boasts nearly 179 hectares of pomegranate orchards that produce over 1,600 tons per year due to various key factors. They include the fertile land, moderate climate, abundant water supply, and rich agricultural soil.

Al-Baha has recently held the 13th edition of the National Al-Baha Pomegranate Festival under the auspicious of Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Al-Baha’s Governor.
The festival represents a valuable platform for all farmers to showcase all pomegranate products such as juice, syrup, pomegranate oil, and others.
Therefore, the event serves as an interactive platform and a new marketing channel for farmers to introduce their products locally and internationally.

Al-Baha is well-known for agriculture with many summer crops such as pomegranates, grapes, apricots, prickly pears, oranges, apples, and tangerines.
The city witnesses many events and festivals that target all segments of society, and this is considered one of the most prominent features of this fascinating city, as its visitors excitedly await these activities.
The region enjoys an exceptional landscape that has broken all the stereotypes of Saudi Arabia. It boasts 53 forests and wildlife areas, including the forests of Raghdan, Ghomsan, Fayk, and Aljabal. Therefore, it is a perfect place for hiking, family picnics, or camping.
