
Saudi Arabia’s Museums Commission is set to launch the Manga Hokusai Manga exhibition to celebrate the works of the renowned Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Set to take place at the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMoCA) in JAX Diriyah from January 15 to February 8, the event represents a collaboration between the commission and the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Foundation.
Through the artist’s magnificent artworks, the event will offer an extraordinary glimpse into the history and evolution of manga.
Interestingly, the exhibition will showcase a comprehensive perspective on how Hokusai’s classical illustration
To enrich the experience of visitors, the event will delve into the deep connection between traditional Japanese art and contemporary visual storytelling.
