Vintage and classic automobiles at the Handicrafts Festival in Hail have captured the attention of several visitors, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The zone represented a perfect destination for car enthusiasts from Saudi Arabia and abroad offering them a promising display of old cars, some made more than 60 years ago.
At the first glance, visitors can see several GMC and Chevrolet models, offering a special dive into the past. “The festival provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase these treasures,” Naif Amim Al-Janfawi, a collector of vintage cars, said.
To enrich the visitor’s experience, the festival displayed the rich heritage of the Hail region through traditional food, clothing, and customs.
As one of the promising initiatives of the “Year of Handicrafts” in 2025, the event has offered a vast array of cultural performances and folk arts from within and beyond the area.
Through a long series of dialogues and educational workshops, the initiative seeks to modernize traditional handicrafts and offer a special blend between contemporary design and technologies.
Moreover, it aims to foster cooperation among institutions and the local community and highlight the pivotal role of traditional arts in preserving cultural identity.
