
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture has held the Cultural Week from September 27 to October 1 in Athens to immerse visitors with the Kingdom’s rich culture and heritage.
According to Arab News, the event boasted several cultural events and activities crystalizing the majesty of the Kingdom’s customs and traditions.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Culture, Abdulrahman Almutawa, stated that the Culinary Arts Commission has also taken part in the week offering traditional Saudi dishes and Saudi coffee to visitors. The Commission’s participation in the week has set an unprecedented example in the authenticity and hospitality of the Saudi community.
Moreover, the occasion witnessed the participation of the Libraries Commission, displaying an outstanding collection of rare Arabic and Islamic manuscripts, featuring the bequest of Arabic calligraphy. In partnership with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy Initiative, Saudi calligraphers amazed the audience with their unparalleled skills in Arabic calligraphy.
Meanwhile, the Fashion Commission has surprised the visitors with a stunning exhibition showcasing traditional Saudi clothes, designed by the most prominent Saudi designers in fashion.
Almutawa stated that the Ministry has dedicated a special pavilion to “the Year of the Camel” initiative, celebrating the unique cultural value of camels in the Arabian Peninsula from the dawn of history up to the present day.
The Music Commission also amused the visitors with fantastic performances by Saudi musicians using traditional musical instruments.
A magnificent archeological tent was set by the Heritage Commission to provide visitors with a glimpse of Saudi cultural heritage and treasures.
