Muhibah Angklung team from Bandung, Indonesia has captured the attention of the audience with a stunning performance and unprecedented enthusiasm.
They amused the attendees with a masterpiece performance of angklung, an Indonesian musical instrument consisting of two to four bamboo tubes suspended in a bamboo frame, bound with rattan cords.

This UNESCO-recognized instrument has fascinated the participants and immersed them in an unforgettable cultural night.

The team showcased a special knack of celebrating Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day by delivering an emotional performance, playing iconic songs like “We Are the World.”

“We are proud to share it with the world and will perform at Jeddah Season as well. We bring the best piece of Indonesia to Riyadh. There is so much more to experience and enjoy in Indonesia, and we hope to welcome you there soon,” Sugiri Suparwan, the deputy Indonesian Ambassador in Riyadh, told Arab News.

To ensure a complete Indonesian experience in the heart of Riyadh, the concert offered traditional Indonesian culinary delights like cendol, onde-onde, and pastel, which were warmly received.
Angklung’s concert in Riyadh is part of their cultural tour across various countries, including European nations and the UAE.
