
Saudi Arabia’s Cultural Development Fund has recently hosted luxury fashion designer and Italian entrepreneur Brunello Cucinelli at AlUla, the Saudi Press Agency.
The event aligned with the fund’s key roles to boost the skills of entrepreneurs in the cultural sector. In collaboration with the Fashion Commission, the event sought to offer a close connection between global cultural experts and Saudi entrepreneurs and creatives. Thus, it represented a significant platform for dialogue and sharing expertise and best practices to drive growth and innovation.
Furthermore, the event reflected the fund’s efforts to promote the managerial, financial, and technical skills of creatives, reducing startup costs, and sustaining creativity in the cultural sector.
In the light of this, the session focused on integrating several techniques into cultural projects. That is why the session delved into the cultural identity as well as the concept of blending creativity and innovation.
Titled “Brunello Cucinelli: From Castel Rigone to the World,” the panel tackled Cucinelli’s career, and other major seems such as building a global fashion brand, merging heritage with innovation, sustainability in luxury fashion, social responsibility, cultural exchange, and the future of fashion.
