Saudi Arabia’s capital will host the second edition of the Riyadh Film Music Festival later this month, as part of the events of the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025) currently running in Riyadh.
From July 30 to August 9, 2025, renowned film composers from around the world will come together in Riyadh to capture audiences with dazzling live performances of music pieces from legendary films. The Red Hall Theater of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University will host the amazing event, under the supervision of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC).
In an extraordinary cinematic and musical experience, full screenings of iconic films will be accompanied by a masterful orchestra performance, led by Maestro Ernst Van Tiel, alongside more than 80 musicians on stage, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Powerful orchestral music and a spectacular live show will revive spectacular cinematic moments from popular films. The Riyadh Film Music Festival 2025 will kick off with a screening of “Top Gun: Maverick” from July 30 to August 2.
On August 1-2, the childhood movie “Lion King” will be screened, while “Back to the Future (1985)” will be played on August 5-6. The final film will be “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” on August 7-8.
The Riyadh Film Music Festival 2025 is one of the key initiatives under the Lifestyle Sector of the RCRC, underscoring the Commission’s commitment to promoting arts and cultural activity in Riyadh and establishing its position as a global cultural and entertainment hub.
