GACA Grants AirX Charter Approval for On-Demand Private Flights within Saudi Arabia

The General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) has granted AirX Charter a foreign operator permit under Part 129, authorizing the company to run on‑demand private flights within Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

AirX Charter has received the permit after meeting all regulatory standards, aviation safety requirements, as well as applicable conditions in the Kingdom.

This milestone supports GACA’s efforts to boost efficiency in private aviation and broaden air services across the Kingdom.

GACA Executive Vice President for Aviation Safety and Environmental Sustainability, Sulaiman Al‑Muhaimedi, formally presented the permit to AirX Charter CEO Houssam Hazzoury at the authority’s Riyadh headquarters.

This move further bolsters the Aviation Program’s ambitious objective of opening new investment opportunities in private aviation and offering flexible operational options to meet rising demand for business jet services, while enhancing competitiveness and sustainability.

AirX Charter will launch on‑demand general aviation services across Saudi airports, fostering the growth of the private aviation market and meeting growing tourism and business needs, while fully complying with local and international environmental and technical regulations.
