Global Health Forum Grows Internationally, Prepares for Bigger 9th Edition this October
Amid rapid growth in the health sector and its rising appeal to investors, the healthcare ecosystem has seen an expanding investor base and advances in scientific research, innovation and health services. These trends were reflected in the eighth edition of the Global Health Forum 2025, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health over four days under the theme “Invest in Health,” as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to attract quality investments and partnerships, support sector development and enhance the quality of services delivered to beneficiaries, in line with the targets of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030 and contributing to building a thriving society and a prosperous economy.
The value of agreements signed last year exceeded 133 billion riyals, with deals between private-sector entities growing sixfold compared with previous editions. The forum hosted 2,200 brands and 600 speakers, including leading global health executives, and drew more than 130,000 visitors. International attendance rose by 54% compared with earlier editions, underscoring the widening scope of global participation and interest in investment and research opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s health sector.
Attention is now turning to the ninth edition of the forum, which is preparing to welcome a select group of investors, innovators, researchers, decision-makers and health leaders from around the world at the Riyadh Exhibition and Conference Center (Malham) from 26 to 29 October 2026. The event will serve as a global platform to explore promising investment opportunities, forge quality partnerships, exchange expertise and review the latest innovations, technologies and solutions shaping the future of health, through a packed programme of sessions, activities and specialised showcases.
