Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Participates in Saudi International Falconry, Hunting Exhibition 2026

The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority is participating in the Saudi International Falconry and Hunting Exhibition 2026, which will be held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham from October 1 to 10.
The authority’s participation highlights its diverse efforts to protect the environment, develop wildlife, promote ecotourism, and preserve cultural heritage. It also introduces the reserve’s natural and cultural assets and distinctive experiences, which have helped establish a destination that combines nature conservation with sustainable development.
Through its pavilion, the authority presents an overview of the reserve’s environmental transformation, including efforts to restore ecological balance, expand vegetation cover, and protect habitats and wildlife. The pavilion also highlights initiatives aimed at ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources, reflecting an approach that goes beyond protection to create a resilient ecosystem capable of generating lasting environmental, social, and tourism value.
Visitors can learn about the reserve’s tourism experiences and destinations, as well as opportunities to explore its landscapes, heritage, and the culture of its local communities. The pavilion also features the Northern Sustainable Hunting Reserve, the Kingdom’s first reserve dedicated to sustainable hunting. The reserve regulates hunting practices in accordance with sustainability standards, offering a model that balances the preservation of heritage with wildlife protection.
The participation also highlights the relationship between people and place, a central principle of the authority’s vision. This includes preserving traditions associated with falconry and hunting and involving local communities in developing ecotourism experiences, products, and economic opportunities.

Through this approach, the authority seeks to preserve the reserve’s cultural identity, strengthen its role in the development process, and position local communities as active partners in sustaining its natural resources and assets.
