The Saudi Culinary Arts Commission has launched the second edition of its academic training program in partnership with accredited Saudi universities and institutes to prepare Saudi nationals for careers in the culinary sector.
The one-year diploma combines classroom instruction with practical training to equip participants with the technical and professional skills required by the labor market. Graduates will receive an accredited qualification from participating educational institutions.
The initiative forms part of the Commission’s broader efforts to develop Saudi talent, strengthen culinary education and training, and support the sector’s growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
In addition to academic study, participants will complete hands-on training under the supervision of industry professionals. The program also includes employment opportunities aimed at improving graduates’ transition into the workforce.
The Commission is delivering the program in partnership with six academic institutions: Prince Sultan University, Prince Mugrin University, King Khalid University, Umm Al-Qura University, Batterjee Medical College and ZADK Saudi Academy for Culinary Arts.
Applications are open to candidates aged 18 and above who hold either a high school diploma or a university degree. Registration opened at the beginning of July and will remain open until July 31, 2026.
