The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) has launched the second edition of the greenhouse management training program, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
In cooperation with NEOM Food Company Topian, the program aims to foster the efficiency of national cadres and boost their technical skills.
By using the latest scientific methods and practical applications, the program provides participants with an outstanding platform to acquire new skills and build professional networks.
Interestingly, the initiative offers participants advanced expertise in smart irrigation technologies, crop monitoring systems, along with energy-saving solutions.
Therefore, they can efficiently manage and operate climate-controlled greenhouses while addressing key field challenges such as water scarcity, soil health, and biodiversity conservation.
To ensure the effectiveness of the initiative, the program will feature direct hands-on training under the supervision of an elite group of experts and specialists, ensuring the transfer of knowledge, localization of modern technologies, and enrichment of practical skills. Thus, it will further bolster sustainable agricultural production and enhance food security.
These initiatives align with the goals of the National Agriculture Strategy of elevating production efficiency and protecting natural resources.
Overall, the program mirrors Estidamah’s commitment to fostering agricultural innovation and adopting state-of-the-art sustainable practices.
