The third edition of the Beit Hail Festival, hosted at Aja Park, drew over 35,000 visitors. Attendees included people from across the region and international tourists, many of whom were visiting during the summer vacation season.
In this edition, the Beit Hail Festival presented a wide variety of activities, events, and family products to visitors. Moreover, historical models showcased glimpses of the Kingdom’s ancient heritage, some of which have persisted to the present day. It also contained pavilions rich in handicrafts, with a total of 35 crafts.
Visitors also learned about the “Made in Hail” pavilion, showcasing ancient incense burners and distinctive Hail spices. They explored the Medina pavilion, featuring the legacy of old residential models of Yanbu Governorate, inspired by over 200 years of heritage and traditions.
The event included pavilions with Thamudic inscriptions, a fine art pavilion with regional artists, and exhibits on the “rayson” industry, wax and soap production, and the popular arts theater of Hail. Additionally, the Hijazi village corners featured many heritage exhibitions and famous Hijazi cuisine.
Many visitors, accompanied by their families, expressed admiration for the traditional artistic paintings at the festival. These paintings enriched, educated, and taught their children about the lives of parents and grandparents, their ways of coexistence, and how they met daily needs in the past.
