The “Jazan Heritage in Aseer” event, part of the vibrant Aseer Summer 2025 program held under the theme “Cooler & Closer.” Celebrating the depth and diversity of Saudi national identity, the event attracted large numbers of visitors and tourists from across the Kingdom and beyond.
The celebration spotlighted the cultural richness of the Jazan Region through a captivating recreation of a traditional Jazan village. Visitors were immersed in the region’s heritage through a multi-sensory experience that brought its authenticity and charm to life.
Various sections of the event featured live folkloric performances, traditional handicrafts, regional garments, local cuisine, and artistic groups showcasing time-honored dances—creating a dynamic and nostalgic atmosphere.
Interactive zones for seniors allowed them to share personal stories and rural traditions, while children enjoyed traditional games and dressed in heritage attire. The event beautifully reflected intergenerational bonds and the continued transmission of cultural values.
