Through the ‘Makkah Throughout History’ pavilion, the exhibition features rare photographs and visual documents focusing on the Grand Mosque. Interestingly, the pavilion offers glimpses into its historical stages and the Kingdom’s ongoing care for the holy site throughout the ages.

Moreover, the pavilion showcases an exceptional collection of significant photographs, such as the first colored picture of the Grand Mosque from 1951, as well as an old photograph of King Abdulaziz beside the Holy Kaaba in 1945.
