Saudi Arabia’s Architecture and Design Commission has launched the Jusoor program, under the umbrella of the “Designed in Saudi Arabia” initiative, to boost the cooperation between local creators, leading companies, and clients looking for innovative designs.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Jusoor connects designers with business partners, providing them with exclusive opportunities to transform their creative ideas into market-ready products.
Therefore, the program supports local talents in the field of industrial design and product design and empowers designers to create designs that perfectly meet the expectations of the market. Such opportunities will strengthen their professional status and unleash new horizons for growth and success in the design industry.
The commission explained that the program targets three main categories:
- Industrial designers
- Private projects
- Commercial design brands
Furthermore, the program enables brands to discover and adopt innovative designs by industrial designers participating in the event.
Designed to facilitate the coordination between the brands and designers, Jusoor will offer an appropriate environment to build sustainable long-term partnerships and encourage the economic growth and continuous development.
The commission emphasized that the program would provide various opportunities to organize design-related competitions in cooperation with major brands, allowing local designers to showcase their design skills and compete through the program.
Moreover, the program offers guidance sessions led by experts in the industrial design sector presenting a valuable platform to communicate, gain advice, advance skills, and understand the market’s needs.
