Saudi Arabia is gearing up for a major mall rebrand, which will bring the internationally recognized retail brand Westfield to the Kingdom’s cities.
After establishing its name in Australia, Europe and the US, Westfield will expand to Saudi Arabia, with shopping malls in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.
This expansion in part of a 10-year landmark strategic and franchising partnership between Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) and Cenomi Centers, with an option to extend it for another 10 years.
Under the partnership, Cenomi Centers will rebrand up to eight of its exisitng malls across the Kingdom, integrating the Westfield brand vision and URW’s industry-leading operational standards into its key assets.
The first phase of the project will involve three key destinations: Jawharat Jeddah, Jawharat Riyadh and Nakheel Dammam. These destinations will operate under Westfield name, with premium retail, dining, and entertainment options tailored to both local and international customers.
The partnership between URW and Cenomi Centers focuses on delivering exceptional experience for customers, as well as boosting Saudi Arabia’s retail landscape, contributing to the broader economic and development goals under Vision 2030, and continuing the international expansion of the Westfield brand.
