The second AMAD Fintech Hackathon, organized jointly by Tuwaiq Academy and Alinma Bank, has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest fintech hackathon globally. The 2026 event drew more than 6,000 participants—both in person and online—from over 2,800 teams across Saudi Arabia.
Following the inaugural AMAD Hackathon’s 2025 Guinness World Record as the largest hackathon held in Riyadh, the 2026 edition surpassed that milestone to claim the title of the world’s largest fintech-focused hackathon. The achievement underscores AMAD’s growing role as a major platform for fintech innovation in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
