Located in the southwest of Saudi Arabia, to the east of Jizan, the mountains are perched at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level.
Fayfa Mountains encompass the largest museum in the Jizan with magnificent displays of priceless historical treasures including vintage weapons and bandoliers, ropes, carriage bags, tools, fire lanterns and much more.
Tourists can experience breathtaking adventures at the area with an extraordinary panorama of almost all the mountains in the region, towering over green spaces and farms. Furthermore, they can visit the local tourist parks and enjoy the large green spaces and walking paths.
The mountains boast awe-inspiring agricultural terraces and rich heritage that can be traced back to ancient generations. They enjoy a moderate weather and a perfect habitat for a wide variety of wildlife.
The towering peaks covered in green are enveloped in fog and the unique plant diversity have made the area the focus of photographers from all over the world.
This summer witnessed great number of tourists and local residents hurrying up to this charming escape. The beauty of the scene was maximized by the recent soothing rains that cooled the temperatures and offered an enchanting haven.
Jizan municipality has intended to capture more visitors through the development of Al-Dhafra, Bardan, and Fountain parks.
