The highlands of the Asir region welcome the month of August, known for its high temperatures ranging from 40 to 50 degrees Celsius in most countries, with thick fog and heavy rain. This weather encourages vacationers to go out with their families and enjoy the enchanting views overlooking the Tihama plains.
The Fog Walkway, perched atop the mountains of Abha, is one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the Kingdom. It gives visitors the sensation of flying among the clouds and fog, providing families with an unforgettable enchanting experience.
The walkway offers stunning mountain views; it is a suspended path 14 meters wide and stretches for seven kilometers. It includes seating areas, playgrounds for children, and boasts numerous facilities and services, restaurants, green spaces, and children’s play areas.
The thick cumulus clouds contributed to blocking the sunlight throughout the day, leading to a drop in temperatures to 17 degrees Celsius. This prompted vacationers to flock early to parks such as Al-Habla, Al-Fara’a, and Al-Misqi, as well as the villages of Bani Mazen, Al-Sahab, Al-Souda, and Bahat Rabi’a.
