Riyadh Transport has announced an adjusted schedule for Riyadh Metro working hours during Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Starting from Thursday, June 5, 2025, Riyadh Metro lines will operate according to new working hours to accommodate the increased travel patterns during the holiday. The adjusted schedule will run until Thursday, June 12, 2025.
In a post on X, Riyadh Transport stated that the Orange Line will work from 10 am to midnight each day until June 14, and will return to its regular schedule on June 15, from 6 am to midnight.
As for Riyadh Metro’s Red, Blue, Green, Purple and Yellow Lines, another schedule will take effect. On June 5, they will operate from 8 am to midnight. From June 6-8, they will work from 10 am to midnight, while from June 9-11, they will operate from 8 am to midnight.
The lines will return to their regular timetable on June 12, working from 6 am to midnight.
Similarly, the Riyadh Buses will have an adjusted schedule during Eid Al-Adha holiday. From June 5 to June 12, they will operate from 5 am to midnight. Moreover, the on-demand bus service will be available during the same period to meet the high demand.
Saudi Arabia announced that Eid Al-Adha holiday for the workers in the private and non-profit sectors will be 4 days. The vacation will begin on Thursday June 5, 2025 (Day of Arafat) and end on Sunday June 8, 2025.
