Malaga, Kuala Lumpur & Dhaka: Riyadh Air Adds 3 New Destinations

Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier and a PIF company, has unveiled three new destinations, expanding its network to include direct flights to Malaga (Spain), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and Dhaka (Bangladesh).

Trips to Malaga and Kuala Lumpur will kick off in July 2026. Non-stop seasonal flights from Riyadh to Malaga will take off on July 14 and run until September 8, while the year-round Kuala Lumpur route will begin operation on July 30.

Moreover, Riyadh Air will operate flights to Dhaka, Bangladesh, starting from August 7, adding to a growing list of international destinations.

The airline has celebrated the arrival of its first three Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft by announcing five new destinations, including Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah, Madrid, and Manchester.

It also moved up its inaugural commercial flight to London to June 10. Flights to Jeddah took off on June 14, followed by Dubai on June 18, and Cairo on June 25, while the Madrid route will launch on July 17 and Manchester on September 19.

The Kingdom’s new national carrier plans to become a key player in the global aviation sector through serving over 100 destinations by 2030, focusing on opening global links for business and leisure travel.
