Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has signed a five-year strategic agreement with Six Flags and Aquarabia Qiddiya City, designating it as the exclusive Official Premier Airline Partner.
This partnership aims to enhance the Kingdom’s tourism sector by curating specialized travel packages that streamline visitor access to world-class entertainment hubs, Saudia said in a press release.
A major element of the collaboration includes high-visibility branding, such as custom Saudia aircraft liveries and interactive airline installations located directly within the theme parks.
Khaled Tash, Chief Marketing Officer of Saudia Group, emphasized that these large-scale national partnerships are vital for achieving Saudi Vision 2030 goals. He noted that the strategy aims to bring the world to the Kingdom while positioning Saudi Arabia as a premier global destination for tourism and entertainment.
Echoing this sentiment, Brian Machamer, Park President of Six Flags and Aquarabia Qiddiya City, stated that the alliance reflects a shared ambition to set a new global benchmark for immersive experiences.
By leveraging Saudia’s network, the parks expect to attract a broader international audience to Riyadh’s Tuwaiq Mountains, where Qiddiya City is situated.
The destination features two major attractions: Six Flags, which offers 28 premier rides across six themed lands, and Aquarabia, which provides 22 aquatic attractions including surfing and white-water kayaking zones.
Notably, the site is home to record-breaking experiences such as “Falcons Flight.” Together, these entities are working to enhance destination access and solidify Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global stage.
This partnership marks a significant step in integrating the Kingdom’s aviation capabilities with its burgeoning entertainment infrastructure, ensuring a seamless journey for thrill-seekers from around the globe.
