The AI Camp launched today at the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of the MedAI Artificial Intelligence Forum, bringing together 120 participants over five days, with nine speakers taking part.
The camp aims to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges through three tracks: sports, agriculture and tourism, enabling participants to move from identifying challenges and developing ideas to building prototypes and preparing for the hackathon.

Organised through a strategic partnership between the Madinah Chamber and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the camp coincides with the “AI Year 2026” as part of efforts to enhance the adoption of modern technologies and deploy them in vital sectors that support development and innovation in the region, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
AI Camp
The camp serves as a precursor to the forum’s main events, scheduled from 12 to 14 October 2026 at the chamber’s headquarters, which will include applied AI labs, exhibitions for major companies and start-ups, and an “investment track” to connect promising projects with investors, in addition to an innovation hackathon that will enable teams to turn prototypes into investable projects.

The camp’s three tracks focus on harnessing AI to address real challenges in the sports, agricultural and tourism fields, helping to improve service efficiency, create new opportunities and support digital transformation in sectors that have a direct impact on quality of life and the local economy.
The Madinah Chamber had previously announced that the forum targets more than 5,000 beneficiaries, aims to conclude around 20 partnerships and agreements, and will present promising investment opportunities in AI and its applications, while attracting leading technology companies and start-ups to showcase solutions and products before decision-makers and investors.
