Saudi electric vehicle maker Ceer has unveiled detailed specifications of its first model, the Exobot, during the brand’s first official launch. Chief Technology Officer Markus Leitner said local manufacturing will allow the company to deliver vehicles to customers within weeks of ordering, rather than the months-long waiting periods common in many markets.
The Exobot has been developed around advanced digital technologies, including continuous over-the-air software updates that remove the need for dealership visits and allow ongoing performance enhancements and new features. Its 48-inch main screen is designed to combine driving, entertainment, and connectivity functions in a single interface.
Performance was a central focus of the vehicle’s development. The Exobot delivers 1,111 horsepower, while its all-wheel-drive version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds. The fast-charging system can fully recharge the battery in approximately 30 minutes.
Leitner said safety was embedded at every stage of the vehicle’s design, development, and production. Carrying the “Made in Saudi Arabia” badge, he added, places a significant responsibility on Ceer to maintain the highest global quality standards. He also highlighted that Ceer is the first automotive brand to incorporate both Arabic and English into its identity and operating system. The unveiling of the Exobot represents a major milestone in Saudi Arabia’s drive to build an advanced domestic automotive industry and strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a regional hub for electric vehicle manufacturing.
