Saudi Red Sea Authority Adds New 1760 Limited Yacht Rental License

The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has issued a yacht rental establishment license to One Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty Limited, as part of its ongoing efforts to build a more organized and reliable coastal tourism sector and enhance the readiness of maritime and navigation activities in the Red Sea. This initiative aims to ensure service quality, protect the marine environment, and support the growth of specialized investments, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The new license represents another step in regulating the yacht rental sector and expanding marine tourism services across the Kingdom through a regulatory framework that balances support for investors and operators with higher levels of compliance, safety, and sustainability in maritime activities.

As part of its mandate, the Authority regulates marine and maritime tourism activities and issues the necessary licenses and permits. It also develops and enforces regulations, standards, and guidelines for tourist marinas, promotes investment in marine and navigation-related activities, and helps create an attractive environment for operators and practitioners, supporting sustainable sector growth through clear and effective governance.

Authority grants yacht

The Authority grants yacht rental establishment licenses after verifying that applicants meet all approved regulatory requirements. This includes compliance with SRSA regulations, ensuring yachts are seaworthy, and implementing safety, security, and environmental protection measures in accordance with local laws and approved standards.

These licenses contribute to improving the efficiency of the yacht rental industry, enhancing the reliability of services provided to customers, and expanding the range of available marine tourism experiences. They also support investment attraction, create high-quality employment opportunities, and encourage more sustainable practices in the use and protection of the marine environment.
