Jeddah is emerging as one of Saudi Arabia’s busiest summer destinations as the holiday season begins, drawing visitors with a mix of heritage sites, waterfront attractions and expanding tourism infrastructure.
Authorities have completed preparations across 12 beaches and waterfront locations, with enhanced safety measures, lifeguard coverage and upgraded recreational facilities aimed at improving the visitor experience.

The city’s maritime tourism sector is also gaining traction with the return of AROYA Cruises, Saudi Arabia’s first luxury cruise line, which is attracting growing interest from travelers in Saudi Arabia and across the Gulf seeking Red Sea voyages.

Demand in the hospitality sector has strengthened during the school holiday period, supported by seasonal offers from hotels and resorts along the Jeddah Corniche and rising visitor numbers.
Meanwhile, the Jeddah Art Promenade continues to draw crowds with live entertainment, restaurants and cafés, while drone displays light up the Red Sea waterfront during evening events.
