Gordon Ramsay Academy Elevates Saudi Arabia’s Culinary Scene

The Gordon Ramsay Academy has made its debut in Saudi Arabia, opening its first venue in Riyadh.

Located at Narjis View Mall, the academy spans more than 1,000 square meters, featuring three teaching kitchens, a fully equipped demonstration kitchen, and a multipurpose dining space that serves as a lounge and cookbook library.

Through a strategic partnership between Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global and Al Khaleej Training and Education, the state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility offers a world-class environment designed to champion culinary mastery, advanced kitchen management, and the sustainable growth of regional hospitality.

In a major boost to Saudi Arabia’s gastronomy landscape and local culinary talent, the academy has plans to open venues in Jeddah and Al Khobar.

The Gordon Ramsay Academy Riyadh’s curriculum will launch in two distinct phases under the official accreditation of Saudi Arabia’s Technical Vocational Training Corporation and the Culinary Arts Commission.

Phase one introduces a recreational schedule running Tuesday through Saturday, featuring roughly 20 weekly sessions. These short courses cover diverse global styles, including classic European techniques, baking, pastry, and East Asian cuisine, alongside dedicated junior chef and family programs.

Following the initial rollout, phase two shifts toward professional career advancement, serving as a top-tier starting point for individuals entering premium restaurant, hotel, and catering sectors.

These advanced culinary programs are strategically structured to provide future pathways to internationally recognized credentials, such as the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality’s Essential Cookery Skills certificate and the Professional Cookery Diploma.

Backed by Chef Gordon Ramsay, the academy brings the expertise of a true global culinary icon to the region. As an internationally celebrated restaurateur and TV personality, Ramsay has shaped the culinary industry through his bestselling cookbooks and roles mentoring talent on hit shows such as MasterChef, earning a legendary reputation worldwide.
