Taif Governor Prince Fawaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz launched the second edition of the Rose and Aromatic Plants Global Forum 2026 on March 29 at Taif University, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The forum will run for 11 days, featuring 15 dialogue sessions as well as 80 diverse activities, designed to boost the agricultural and aromatic plant sectors across both local and international arenas.
The event will also include a vast array of workshops and specialized sessions tackling the latest advances in agricultural and economic technologies, including the enhancement of plant varieties and modern propagation techniques.

The sessions will spotlight innovative solutions for aromatic plant production while helding fruitful discussions on the creative economy and international trade.
Participants will also discuss the future of Taif rose production through modern technologies, evaluate the impact of climate change, and examine strategies to preserve the cultural heritage associated with Taif roses, alongside the swift application of advanced technologies in supply chain management.
