The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) to showcase Saudi traditional arts in the means of transport, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The deal aims at boosting the presence of traditional arts across the national transportation experience and further empowering Saudi talent in crafts and artistic expression. It will also foster human capacity development through joint workshops and training programs.
Interestingly, the collaboration will feature several initiatives to strengthen the traditional arts and crafts sector, encouraging artisans and students to participate in projects that preserve heritage and stimulate innovation.
Furthermore, both sides will develop educational and promotional content and jointly take part in local and international events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Overall, the initiative seeks to showcase the rich heritage of Saudi traditional arts while celebrating national identity across modern transportation platforms.
