The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) has participated in the Saudi Cultural Week in Albania, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Wrth’s participation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, features four main stations, as follows:
- Sound identity experience: It provides a combination between Saudi and Albanian musical rhythms.
- Interactive weaving panel (Sadu): This section blends between Saudi Sadu motifs and Albanian carpets in a collective work titled “Shared Memory.”
- Wrth store: It displays innovative artistic products from the works of the institute’s students and entrepreneurs.
These efforts perfectly align with the goals of the Year of Handicrafts 2025 of supporting and empowering artisans and students.
By actively taking part in this event, Wrth aims to highlight Saudi traditional arts, strengthen the global presence of Saudi culture, as well as achieve the objectives of the National Culture Strategy within the Saudi Vision 2030.
Saudi Cultural Week in Albanian capital Tirana aims basically to foster cultural and artistic ties between Saudi Arabia and Albania.
Through cultural and interactive activities, both nations jointly celebrate the commonalities between their traditional arts.
